Students interested in journalism or broadcasting write, lay out, edit and oversee the production of the twice-weekly student newspaper, The Appalachian.
Others staff 90.5 The APP (WASU-FM), the student-run FM radio station on campus, featuring every kind of music from country to classical. WASU-FM was recently named the nation’s top college radio station. The award-winning WASU-FM radio is on the air 24 hours a day, with student newscasters and DJs.
