Performing Arts Series
The university’s well-established Performing Arts Series presents some the world’s greatest musicians, dance companies, and theater troupes. Recent performers have included the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Peking Acrobats, Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, London City Opera, the Prague Chamber Orchestra, and Trinity Irish Dance. The Forum Series, also offered during the academic year, features guest speakers who share perspectives on issues affecting the lives of the campus body, the nation, and the world. Elie Weisel, Spike Lee, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Oscar Arias, Lee Smith, and Morris Dees are among the series’ recently featured speakers.
