As a home for many clubs and campus organizations, the W.H. Plemmons Student Union is a natural gathering place- the village square of a major university. It houses the Looking Glass Art Gallery, the Greenbriar Movie Theater, the Summit Trail Solarium, Crossroads Coffee House, Wiseman’s View Lounge, Mt. Mitchell Fitness Center, and Howard’s Knob patio, not to mention numerous meeting spaces in the Blue Ridge and Grandfather Mountain ballrooms.
