Academic Services
The staff of the University Writing Center is trained to help students with writing projects or problems. The Center, located in the Belk Library and Information Commons, is open every class day.
The Learning Assistance Program (LAP) offers various services to help students adapt to college live and take advantage of important academic and support programs. The LAP staff provides academic, career, and personal counseling; oversees a student tutorial program; and offers numerous workshops and classes on such topics as study skills, test taking, and stress management.
Additional academic services include Career Development, Academic Advising, and University Honors.
